We had a wonderful stay in this little apartment in the hills of west crete. The communication with the owner Tassos was very quick and helpful, he was always reachable. Checking in was super easy, via a key in a box next to the door, and we also got a video beforehand, how to reach the place. It is pretty remote and very quiet, which we absolutely loved after the more hectic and touristic other places we visited, yet in 10-15 minutes by car you reach small villages with restaurants and supermarkets and different beaches. So the perfect location for us! The apartment itself is absolutely lovely. It is very clean, newly furnished and decorated in a very cute way with lots of small, beautiful details and you can see that someone put their heart into making this place homey. We were given a bottle of Raki and fresh fruit as a welcome present, were allowed to use their beach towels and beach umbrella and had soap and shampoo in the bathroom. You have two private terraces with tables for eating and sun beds for sunbathing (where no one around can see you!). The kitchen is simple but efficient, you have a toaster, kettle, coffe maker and fridge, so we had a cold breakfast every da and sometimes salads for lunch. No option for cooking though. We would absolutely recommend staying here if you want the perfect combination of a quiet stay in the mountains while still reach beaches in a short car ride! A wonderful apartment where we felt fantastic. Very quiet area where you can really relax and enjoy the amazing view from the terrace. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, we lacked nothing. Niki and her mother spoiled us with sweets and vegetables. We felt really wonderful here. The location is ideal for the beaches of Elafonisi and Kedrodasos but also for the amazing gorges. If you are in Kedrodasos beach, please bring water bottles for the kittens who live right behind the garbage cans, they are very thirsty for water but they will also enjoy the food. In front of Niki's terrace, on the opposite side of the road next to the church, a cat who has little cats comes to the square, she comes in the morning or evening, when it's cooler, you can also give her something. Let's not be indifferent to animals in such heat. Have a nice rest everyone.

evas, We left Kissamos to go to Eva's accommodation, it is located on a very characteristic provincial road that runs through a mountainous area with breathtaking views, then going down towards Elafonissi you come across small groups of houses every now and then, among which there is also that of Eva that we found easily because she sent me via WhatsApp all the information on how to take the key and enter the house. We liked this accommodation very much because it gives you the feeling of being in the open countryside, as soon as you enter there is the living room with the beds that Eva has prepared for us, then there is a very nice and characteristic large eat-in kitchen, when we had breakfast we looked out the window at the panorama with the mountains accompanied by the sound of the cicadas, very relaxing, very characteristic. The accommodation is equipped with air conditioning, the bathroom is located outside the house, it is very spacious and there is also a washing machine which we used without any problems. Outside the door there is a small space shared with the neighbors with benches and chairs, again very relaxing and even though it is facing the road there is not much traffic so you are not disturbed by passing vehicles. The house is located 8 minutes from Elafonissi, a beautiful beach. What can I say, I already miss this place, thanks Eva thanks for everything.

I loved the hospitality. Exceptionally clean. Ms. Chrisoula the host was very attentive and very generous with treats. Beautifully decorated with crystal glasses and actual porcelain plates. I highly recommend this establishment.

Everything!! The view is not to be believed! So beautiful and relaxing! Such a wonderful place to enjoy quiet and peace, but not so far away from the beautiful beaches and other towns. The food at panorama Taverna had been some of the best Traditional dishes we’ve had on Crete.
