It was truly an exceptional experience! The hotel is situated in a quite area around 7-minute walk away from the beach. The design of the hotel is very modern and the attention to detail is amazing! We booked a room with a private pool, which was very nice and we were spending our evenings on the terrace watching the stars. The meals and the bar at the hotel we thought were the best! Cocktails were really great! We were using beach facilities at Pilot Beach Resort every day, it's very easy to get there by a shuttle bus that picks you up in front of the hotel. The team who works at the hotel are true professionals, we are very thankful for their hospitality and help during our stay! It's a second time I am choosing this hotel when travelling to Crete and every time I visit it exceeds all my expectations!

We stayed here for 4 nights, in the lower floor apartment which was very spacious and well equipped. I could easily see us spend here an entire week or more. There’s also the pool which has a great view where you can enjoy the sunset. There’s parking as well. Just be aware there’s a short but steep ascent to get there. We struggled at first but the host gladly thought us how to approach it and after we had no problem. There’s also a great tavern with a beach if you cross the road.

Eko Suites is located in Georgioupolis and offers self-catering accommodation. Free WiFi access is available. Apartments at Eko Suites feature a TV, air conditioning and a balcony.

Perfectly located for the beach, supermarkets and tavernas. Attention to detail from the owners is excellent, exceptionally clean, modern and extra touches such as bottles of water as we arrived late, toiletries etc.

Although it is 7 km from the beach it is a superb location with beautiful sea views, large clean pool. We had impeccable support from the lady. Villa is equipped with everything needed for a family. Outside by the pool there is a terrace with table and barbecue where you can spend the afternoon in peace. Worth the 10+ and we will be back with great pleasure.

A lovely 11 days stay in a spacious villa with plenty of facilities and very clean. Michalis is a fabulous host, visiting every day to empty bins, clean the pool and answer any questions (and equally happy to not visit if you don't need him). He's also always available on WhatsApp for any questions. Finding homemade Pasticcio cooked and ready for us on arrival was very welcome after travelling. As was finding the fridge well stocked with essentials for our first day...so no rushing to the supermarket on arrival. The villa is excellent...spacious, very clean, well supplied in all respects whether it is towels or sun loungers. The dishwasher and washing machine really helped. The town is a short walk away (along or across a busy road) and take a torch in the evenings if you will walk home (Michalis kindly provides one). Or take a taxi for 5 or 6 €. All the taxi companies are good, and book your transfer from the airport direct with them as cheaper than airport taxi transfer. If you hire a car, hire in the town after arrival, not from the airport....its MUCH cheaper.

We had a fantastic time in Mikro Livadi Hotel. The family that owns /runs it, really is very helpfull and sweet. We ate several times at the hotel's exclusive restaurant and every time the food was excellent, fresh and often from their own farm. We had meat, seafood and some vege pies, plus all side veggies that were availlable I guess :), although we would've been just fine with their cheese, bread and olive oil ... haha. Much like mama's kitchen, I would say. The apartment we had was clean, spacious, had everything that we needed. Just outside the terrace there was an array of beautiful plants, among them a lime tree, lavender bush, and jasmin. Oh, the scent !!! I once stayed half a night reading a book on the terrace just intoxicated with these aromas. There were clean towels and sheets every few days, plus a set of pool towels too. The pool was great, just perfect size and depth to swimm and for kids to have fun. The beach is just few minutes away, large, with beach bars and showers.

Everything was great! Felt like home:) great garden & pool The pool was smaller as expected but for children ideal. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The house itself spacious with big terrace & kitchen. We will be back.

I am slightly conflicted in writing this review. This beautiful village gains its attraction in part because it is not very well known and because it retains the spirit of a mountain village in central Crete from an earlier age. And long may that last. However, in honesty I must also say that this accommodation in the centre of the village is a remarkable place - our suite was so beautiful and well equipped, and the garden so well cared for. The pool is really lovely. We had a jacuzzi in our bedroom but there is also a lovely comfortable lounge and kitchen. This genuinely a really beautiful place.

Mountain Vista Resort is one of the first attempts of agritourism in Crete, and is situated in dense cypress, surrounded by mountains, 20km southwest of Rethymnon.
