The villa is located in a very quiet village that is not difficult to reach. The panorama from the villa's yard is amazing - the Libyan Sea is in front of your eyes. The antique furniture inside is very positive, as the standard IKEA furniture in most of the other villas for rent is already very tired. The owner, Andreas, a very nice man, filled us with a fridge full of fruits and vegetables. He also left a bottle of wine in the fridge ... :) Thank you so much for a good stay at Villa Onar. We'll be back here again!

We liked the simplicity still smart decoration at farmer's house. The view from the house terrace was overwhelming, the owner's knowledge and expertise about wines (to our surprise he and his brother Antonio's have a maggestic winery, with plantation situated at the hills of Psiloritis a few miles away from farmer's establishment. Kostis offered us a tour at the wine plantation and a selection of wines at the house.. Super!!

We had a great time at this apartment. It was very clean and it is very spacious with a big balcony with a nice view on the mountains. The town itself is a small village with not many tourists, which we really liked. We spent a week in Faneromeni and from there, you can reach a lot of cool places within a half hour car-ride. The host (Helen) was really nice - we wrote a bit before our stay and then met her once at the apartment, which was really nice. So, long story short: Clean. Big Balcony. Nobody was bothering us. The villa is a beautiful stone house converted from an oil factory. The house is very spacious, has air conditioners in every room, fully equipped and comfortable kitchen. The host welcomed us to the property and prepared for us fruits, vegetables, oil, raki and wine to welcome us. I recommend the nearby town of Voroi, the restaurant and cafes on the market square, the meat and cheese store where a nice old lady sells. It is a rural area where you can experience the true spirit of Greece and real people. The southern part of Crete is a place away from the hustle and bustle with beautiful beaches. I recommend Matal and Agia Gallini.
