The house was FANTASTIC, and super nice. It was very nice having a full kitchen we could cook at. My favourite part was the booklet of beaches and places to eat she had left out. Very helpful having all the descriptions in one place! She also had left beers, and cheese/ham in the fridge for us to make sandwiches! My friends and I stayed at over 7 hotels while in Greece and this was by far our favourite. AC in both bedrooms was super useful at there was a huge heatwave with temperatures up to 45*Celsius while we were there. Mini market walking distance/around the corner for any grocery needs we had, as well as a full size fridge in the apartment were both incredible useful! There was an outdoor area to sit/lie down on beach chairs which were amazing for viewing the stars at night.

Nice remote location with a very nice local city. People in this city are very welcoming and kind. The place was very nice and clean. All furniture was of high quality. The city has all you need for a nice luxury getaway.

I haven't had much choice in the neighbourhood - so I liked the location. Nice view from the veranda. Comfy bed.

We stayed for one night on our way from Elafonisi Beach to Balos Beach. The staff is very friendly and kind, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The balcony is very big, with hangers to dry your clothes/towels on. We went for food in the nearby village (1km away) and the food was traditional, cheap and very tasty. Would totally go back again, value for money 10/10

Elegant tasteful architectural renovation of very old traditional village house in supremely peaceful location. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and large kitchen. Two patios - one private space and another one on which to eat, overlooking the village and mountains. Helpful and welcoming hosts. Superbly clean and a cleaner came in half-way through stay, washed floors etc and gave new sheets and towels. Fittings and appliances brand new. Mountain village location with tremendous birds and wildlife. Fell asleep to the peep-peep calls of the Nightjar, awoke to the crowing of roosters and a peacock. Accessed by main road between Kissamos and Palaochora via Topolia Gorge - 45 mins to Kisamos, 1.5 hours to Palaochora, around two hours to Chania airport. Thank you Gregory and Eleni, we had a very happy time.

The Horio House is comfortable and beautiful - very well designed - with care for design and details and very well equipped with all appliances - everything that you might need during holiday, including even beach towels and umbrellas. We were met by a nice host, who welcomed us with own produced wine and olive oil. The village is nice and tranquil, after the hot beach days - we really enjoyed our quite evenings here. Efharisto!

The houses are in a nice and quiet place, next to the mountains. It is a bit hidden, when you come with the car, especially later in the evening. The entire property was very clean and very nicely set up with the pool, the houses/ flowers and sunbeds.

The location Is amazing. We spent really great time in the nature, enjoying the view and the sound of the Wind. The room was accuratly clean, the garden well kept, and Maria has been so nice and kind with us. We highly reccommend It.
