What a perfect stay at the TRADITIONAL HOUSE! Hosts are both amazing humans and great hosts. We travel week by week for work and enjoy staying in traditional units from time to time. The best version of a traditional house we have stayed in on Crete so far! Very clean for a traditional house. Hosts met us on arrival and explained what we needed. Fully equipped kitchen to cook what you need The patio/outside area is perfect! Perfect for hot days with shade above and perfect for long evenings enjoying some dinner and raki. The place is huge! Perfect for 2 people, but you can sleep more on couches if that is what you need. The main bed is really quite small. it fits the 2 of us, but it is a small double bed. Not ideal for 2 large people. But we were fine with it. Air con in the bedroom for hot nights. Big fan for the other rooms to create airflow. NO new TV, but an older style IF you need it. We did not even think about TV while there. You have the whole place to yourself! Plenty of room to park. The prop is fully fenced/sercure. Mr Manolis comes most days to feed the rabbits, and chickens and do the gardening. Very, very present welcoming man. No English. Had a great afternoon sharing his homemade Raki, and his own Figs and veggies. This added so much to our stay! Thank you Mr Manoli! Only a 20 minute drive to Phalasarna. The most famous beach in the area. Perfect to be away from the hustle and bustle of that beach and area. But an easy drive to get there. Also, perfect for accessing Balos if you want to get there. The BEST MUST TRY TAVERNA is the area is Gramboussa Restaurant in Kaliviani. Only a 6-minute drive. This mixes the best tastes of Crete, with a fine dining feel. Spent time with the owner while we were there and were very impressed with the whole place. We went there twice in the week. Perfect for afternoon food and long dinner and drinks at their very own cocktail bar with live music most nights. YOU MUST GO! Thank you for a great stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this holiday villa, and I can't say enough about the experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the high standard of this villa. Every detail was carefully considered, making our stay truly beautiful. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pool, which was not only pristine but also offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. It was the perfect place to relax and soak up the Cretan sun. The location of the villa couldn't have been better. Nestled around olive trees in the peaceful countryside between Kissamos and Falassarna, it provided a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We were also just a short drive away from some of Crete's most stunning beaches and charming villages. The owner Theodoros of the villa was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He and his family went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the experience that we truly appreciated. The surroundings of the villa were picturesque, with olive groves and vineyards stretching as far as the eye could see. Exploring the nearby area was a delight, and we even had the opportunity to sample some of the finest local produce. Of course, it's worth noting that the weather during our stay was absolutely perfect. With the Mediterranean climate in October, we enjoyed sunny days and pleasant evenings, making our vacation all the more enjoyable. Overall, our stay at this holiday villa on Crete was an unforgettable experience. It exceeded our expectations in every way, from the high standard and attention to detail to the fantastic pool, location, friendly owner, beautiful surroundings, and the impeccable weather. We left with cherished memories and a longing to return to this little slice of paradise on Crete.

This was an amazing and cosy house in a nice village very close to beautiful beaches and nature walks. We enjoyed the traditional architecture and peaceful area. Equipment in the house comprised everything we needed. We definitely recommend it.

this property had lots of character and was situated in an amazing location amidst some great restaurants. beautiful views and lots of different spaces to relax in. The owner was very helpful and it was great to have fresh sheets and a friendly cleaner every other day.
