I liked the fact that everything in the apartment appeared to be all new and clean - there were 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, one of which was ensuite. Fully airconditioned, and there was ample shower gel and shampoo (olive oil based too!), fully equipped kitchen and everything from the front gate to the inner gate and the door to our apartment were operated by electronic key codes, so no chance of misplacing keys or locking yourself out. We were also grateful that we were allowed to place our luggage in storage there before checking in a few days later, as we were flying off to Santorini for a few days first without checked baggage. Lastly, there is also a gym there if one is on a long term stay. Nearest metro is Kato Patissia, about a 5 minute walk away, and the apartment is located off the main road, and hence, is nice and quiet, away from traffic and dust from the main road. As the apartment is unmanned and has no reception, do make sure you do the pre-check in requested by email at least a day before you check in, in order to get the door code on the day of your arrival.

The location was perfect, just off into a quiet street in heart of downtown Athens. Walking distance to the Parthenon and to a lot of nice restaurants, bars, and shops. In contrast to many of the places around, the building was modern and the rooms were very spacious and well decorated. The breakfast was spot on, and the in-house restaurant also has a great menu and ambiance. Staff were really helpful on every single point.

The host was really helpful throughout the stay, and made sure that everything is meeting our expectations. We loved that the apartment was clean and well equipped. The parking is secure and that's helpful because the street is really crowded. (best 10 euros spent!). Nearby you can find gas stations (for those travelling by car), local shops, markets and also a few cute coffee spots and taxi stations. We stayed in the apartment on the 6th floor, and that meant we had a nice view (especially at sunset). The gym is also really cute and clean, and the available equipment is enough to target every muscle group.

i completely enjoyed my stay at the modernist hotel and would consider staying there again. very clean, large comfortable room. excellent bathroom and shower all in modern and new decor. great air conditioning in the room. really comfortable bed. can see the acropolis in the distance from the rooftop dining area. the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. i was having a little trouble booking day excursions because of the current travel conditions but the hotel staff looked around for me and kept in contact with me while i was out and about in town. they worked hard and found a great half day sunset swim/cruise with several incredible dishes of homemade lunch on a new company yachthop that was perfect especially with the heat. the breakfast-eggs and other breakfast items were a great way to start the day. the hotel has a few little cafes and places to grab a bite about a block away on a side street. even though the hotel is off the main road i didn't really hear any noise. i would definitely recommend staying there. about 30 min car ride (transfer service) from the airport. hotel is about 1 mile from the start of the shopping and town area with all the restaurants near the acropolis. don't let the distance discourage you though. should be about a 5 euro taxi (BEAT app) if you do not feel like walking. the walk is easy. just down the main road and you're there.
