Besides the warm hospitality of Stella and the neighbors, who, seeing that we were traveling with a child, did not stop giving us all kinds of attention and care, we loved the rural atmosphere of the town and how impeccabile and well-kept the house was. Everything! Our family liked absolutely everything about this place. Location, cleanliness, vibes, feel and especially our hosts - level of attentiveness and hospitality are absolutely phenomenal. We heard about Cretan hospitality, but this completely blew our minds. We were greeted and given a tour, which was perfect on time and attentiveness. Our host welcomed up us with fruits, snacks, homemade rakia and orange juice (both are the best we've tried and made locally!), gifts for our kids (whom they've learned about just hours prior). Villa has absolutely everything you'll need to feel home away from home. Everything is thought through and organized in such a flawless and convenient way that makes your stay a joy. It was very tastefully decorated and just a pleasure to relax after a day of exploring the island. Books, games for family - there are just so many things to list. Everything is new, clean, and done with love and the intent to make you fall in love with culture, people, and traditions. All the reviews can't possibly do justice to the wonderful people who will host you at an amazing Villa Moroni. Location! Villa is located in a small, quiet village, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature of the magnificent island surrounded by olive groves and gorgeous mountains. However, it is in such a central location - minutes away from a highway giving you an opportunity to explore both South and North side of Crete. Hosts will advise you about local attractions and points of interest as well and help you to navigate local hidden gems. No reviews can do justice to this amazing place and wonderful people who will embrace you and your family if you are in Crete. We feel blessed that our paths crossed, and we were hosted here.

Dragonini facilities and George's hospitality were great! Was really a pleasure to stay at George's place. When I arrived he had prepared a nice welcome, with some sweets & fruits. George was also very keen on sharing some tips for my holiday in Crete. He was always attentive to any possible need I might had. At driving distance, some of the available attractions: Rouvas Gorge parking (to access the trekking track) 30 min; Knossos Palace and Heraklion Archeological Museum (35 min); Phaestos Palace (35 min); Kommos and Kalamaki beaches (45 min); Spili village (1h 15 min); Réthimo (1h 34 min); Moni Preveli and Preveli beach (1h 49 min).
