The place is great, near the most beautiful beaches in the area. I am very glad I chose this place rather than a room in the nearby larger town, and the owners are accommodating and friendly. I spent four nights here, but I could have happily stayed longer. It's definitely worth it. Overall very pleased and if I am in the area I'd recommend it to anyone! Worth mentioning and not obvious at first glance: there is a bus stop to Chersonissos just a few metres from this place, so Anissaras is well connected to the bus lines in Eastern Crete - which I only found out when I was already there.

The host by far was the best part of our stay because she was very kind, responsive, and did everything she could to make this a pleasant stay. Any resolvable issues were quickly addressed and made more manageable. The kitchen was very well stocked with supplies to comfortably make meals and a nicely done gift basket that included wine and several local products await you. The location of the home is near several restaurants, a grocery store, and beach access, all within easy walking distance. The bed linens were clean and there were plenty of towels and hot water available during our stay. The pool and its surrounding area were well maintained, allowing for a pleasant swim at your leisure.

Aldemar royal mare was a great experience for many reasons. The staff was very friendly and kind. Many many thanks to Mr Giorgos Mandalakis, what a super professional he was and very helpful with some issues we had. The food was super. We had an italian night in the buffet which was truly superb !!! The pools were also great. I highly recommend it !!!
