I was in Svaneti 3 years ago and stayed in Mestia. this time there was decided to stop in a quieter place, without noise. The house of this family where we fixed two rooms, corresponded to our desires. the house was built according to the traditions of the Svans in two floors with stairs. Wood. Breakfast with delicious khachapuri and tea. The hostess cooked it VERY well. impossible to refuse ))) water from the mountains flowed in the yard, so clean and tasty that we took with us to Tbilisi in large bottles.

A modest home in the beautiful countryside run by a kind, friendly family. I had a big private room with 2 beds and lots of warm blankets. Coffee and tea were available for free all the time. I stayed 2 days and the food was different each evening and morning. Lots of hot water in the bathroom. Great food. For this price, you can't lose.

This is a fantastic place to stay for a day or more. You literally live in the middle of the mountains but with all facilities and comfort. Those wooden cottages are extremely cozy, I didn't want to leave. The hosts are very very nice and welcoming, and I'm not even talking about the location, this is an actual fairytale.

The owner and host malkhaz is an amazing person and has taken very good care of us by not only picking and dropping us from bacho. Also, preparing delicious Georgian dinners and breakfast. Overall, it is the best place to spend a few days in a calm and peaceful place with amazing views in the lap of nature. Also, staying here is a nice way to support eco-village tourism little away from commercial tourist spots of Mestia.
