A modest home in the beautiful countryside run by a kind, friendly family. I had a big private room with 2 beds and lots of warm blankets. Coffee and tea were available for free all the time. I stayed 2 days and the food was different each evening and morning. Lots of hot water in the bathroom. Great food. For this price, you can't lose.

Now when we completed the hike from Etseri to Ushguli I could say it was the best place we've stayed. This was the only time when I didn't feel we were in guesthouse, but visiting the family. Mila, her sister and other ladies are so lovely, food was just superb. Rooms were simple, but comfortable, as it was just us and 2 more people, facilities were enough. İf i could have returned to one place from the hike, this would be the one.

What a treasure of a cottage! Hotel Ushba Hill is owned and managed by a brother and sister duo Gela and Nestan, and I cannot express how grateful and impressed I am with the memories I have gathered from my stay here. It is located in rural Ushba Hills where you are able to trek around the most beautiful scenery however long or short as you please. The horses belongs to the neighbor next door which one may see out of the window of their rooms during the day. It is also here that one traveler may find the best meal(s) they will have throughout their trip in Georgia. Nestan single-handedly is able to churn out the most delicious Svanetian meal of your life (no joke) come hungry, and stay long! Breakfast and dinner is included in the room rate, it adds to its charm that it is not a restaurant, but if you happen to be in the same area, I would encourage for one to stop by and inquire in advance if there may be any likelihood of dining there because the experience is not to be missed. I cannot wait to be back again.
