We liked everything! Upon opening the door we were amazed at the size of the accommodation; so much room to unpack and relax and enjoy the quiet space. We felt really at home there and enjoyed returning at the end of each day! We walked up to the top of the outside space and looked across the views of Essex - gorgeous! We'd have no hesitation in booking Meadow Barns again and would recommend it to family and friends. Faultless!

From easy parking, check-in to booking dinner, overall, this hotel is an incredible hidden find! The style of hotel and the menu was, simply put, outstanding. The hotel is also very romantic and tranquil. As it was very hot in the UK, we were provided with a Dyson fan in the room and cold water immediately. However, the cherry on top is the restaurant! The menu is broad and the food was absolutely delicious and well presented. I am the daughter of a 3-star Michelin Chef, my standards are high and I don't get impressed easily, but this was a really pleasant culinary experience. I forgot an item in the room, they immediately rang me and I was able to collect it in no time.
