A lovely little cottage which was comfortable and had almost everything we could have wanted for a one night stay. The staff were happy for an earlier check in time which was really appreciated as we were at a wedding at Healey barn for 2. The cottage has a comfortable seating area in front of a fire. Bring some wood if you want to use it. A comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and shower and toilet.
The location is great for visiting near by towns like corbridge and hexham and as mentioned we were attending a wedding at Healey so this accom was great for that.

Good location, friendly staff, lovely peaceful garden
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Rooms are quiet well away from the active area of the pub.
Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfasts and evening meal were good. Car parking was fine even on a Friday night when the inn was fairly busy. Excellent Inn style accommodation
Rural, roadside Inn/accommodation in quiet village. Inn is local focal point and can get quite busy at night which says a lot for the quality of food available. Clean room, comfy bed and good facilities. Ample parking, good freshly cooked breakfast. Well priced and very good food in evenings.
2 night stay for New Year. Lovely pub. We had a luxury king room which was exceptionally large with a view over the countryside and lovely and warm with a very comfortable bed having beautiful white bed linen together with white fluffy towels that were actually large enough to wrap around yourself (luxury) Food was exceptional with so much choice and that included the breakfast as well. Credit to all staff who worked hard and were very friendly. Plenty of car parking. Will definitely call again.
