Highfield was lovely. The room was very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. I often travel for work and Highfields is far better than many of the hotels I have used.

We liked everything about 'Field Cottage'. It was spacious enough for the four of us, there was off street parking, a very nice garden with seating, a well equipped kitchen, a lovely big dining table for meals and games and a washing machine, which was really handy as we needed to wash a bundle before our onward journey. Graham and Helen communicated effectively and responded promptly to all questions we had. A visit to Whittlesey museum is highly recommended.

The Straw Bear was located vey well for my work. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good and plenty of it. The room had good free secure wifi. Free onsite parking, which appeared enough for when I was there. Although I have put some negatives below, I would/will use again if I am in the area. Breakfast from 08.30am, but with prior arrangement you could get a very good breakfast (as I did) starting from 07.30am (so cooked breakfast arrived about 07.45am)
