We were met by the owner who was very friendly and he helped us out with the washer/dryer. The garage can get a bit warm but fortunately they have a portable fan we could use. We very much enjoyed staying in his newly renovated garage. It was also very convenient to Lacock - just 5 minutes drive away.

Lagard Stables was a little oasis in Whitley, Wiltshire. The town's pub was a short stroll down the lane. The atmosphere was relaxing and meals were consistently good.

Tim and his wife have created a fantastic place to stay in Whitley, it’s impeccably clean, well furnished with everything thats needed when away from home, in a great location as we where visiting Badminton Horse Trials just a short drive away, loads of parking, only a short walk to the local pub, and we couldn’t ask for more with the communication from Tim.

I liked this hotel, a couple of miles out of Melksham. In a grand stone manor building, it is well presented with beautiful public spaces, a restaurant, and some lovely rooms. The lovely outdoor swimming pool was heated to a warm temperature which was nice. It has nice grounds to wander around in, and it was quiet at nighttime, with just the birds to wake you up. Our room on the ground floor was a quiet, cosy twin, we had enough space just to pull the twin beds apart to make some space between the beds. Great, strong shower over the bath. A fridge and tea making facilities. We ate dinner one night in the restaurant, it was very nice food. Breakfast is served in there every day. The staff were lovely and super helpful.

Horse Barn was the perfect location for family holidays in Wiltshire. The house was comfortable and spacious, the kitchen well equipped, the hosts were friendly, kind and nice, and the possibility to buy farm products was very welcome to us. In short: everything was marvellous and if possible we would certainly love to come back one day!

The cottage was a refurbished barn. Everything was to the highest spec. Th rooms were comfortable and warm we particularly liked the provision of a wood burning stove and the fuel to run it.

So cozy and comfortable cottage…stays true to its name…loved every bit of the stay Everything you need was accommodated..would strongly recommend to book in summers to enjoy the pool Walks around the property are easy and animals (sheep’s, hen etc) are very friendly Wake up to all the sounds that nature could offer you All in all- excellent and happy stay and the host were very friendly and quick to answer no matter where they are geographically Location - very accessible and gps takes you right into the property Food places around- Lacock, Chippenham and Melksham Groceries - all leading supermarkets in either of those places Very much suitable for friends upto 6 or a family of 4. Fabulous stay at Birch house. The hosts are super helpful and friendly and the property was very clean and comfortable. Corsham is a lovely town close to both Bath and Bristol and we enjoyed going Peacock-spotting to see the local birds which wander freely!
