Lovely rural retreat surrounded by the farm animals. Converted barn with well stocked shower cubicle. Complimentary biscuits and milk. The log burner would be very cosy for winter stay but the radiator was adequate for our early Autumn stay. Sarah very friendly and precise with directions.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
This is a wonderful old building. Full of character. Very clean and comfortable too. Easy safe and plentiful parking. Larger than expected room which was spotlessly clean

The staff - all very helpful and efficient. Room - very clean, toiletries, tv (ok a bit small screen).
Bar - good choice of real ales, great atmosphere.
Food - ok firstly lets not forget this is a pub, I mention it only because some reports think its The Ivy!. The food was excellent. Crab languise was very tasty ( colleague had). But the House Special Burger was fantastic. No question about the quantity -I could not eat it all! Breakfast excellent as well.
