Location was perfect for purpose. All staff super friendly and welcoming and always went the extra for every need - from a safety pin to a berocca in the morning after the night before! Variety of food on offer and was enjoyed by all. Breakfast had a few options however the cooked breakfast did the trick every morning. Would highly recommend staying at The Star and would definitely stay again - thank you so much to Leah and all the staff for making our stay enjoyable and comfortable

lovely setting, some beautiful villages and canal/river walk. free bus to the tram line. near airport. the room was very similar to most purpose built student lets (ie very satisfactory) although the mattress was disappointing. a small tea kettle was provided in room, or a faster boiling one in the kitchen.
