Beautiful building and grounds. Interesting history, attentive staff. Excellent service. Swimming pool was lovely. Jai was especially lovely, looking after us after breakfast. They made my daughters 21st birthday extra special.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful area with plenty of car parking facility. Clean and spacious room. The reception and dining area is modern: good layout throughout. Overall we received excellent customer service and enjoyed a good selection of breakfast.
Great location, free parking space, easy check-in and check-out. I think they have great restaurant, it was full when we checked in. Unfortunately we didnt't have time to try the meals. Recommended to also reserve for the restaurant if you come here.
The breakfast menu was very extensive all was well cooked large portions and delicious. The rooms are very old and quirky don't be fooled the bathrooms were modern with a very good power shower. Free parking on sight. Very friendly knowledgeable helpful staff definitely each person was very customer focused.

King's Head is a handsome building with good car parking facilities .. The interior decoration is very attractive in both restaurants and bar areas. There is plenty of outside seating... The restaurant menu is varied and very good quality.
The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and good hanging space and a double shower room.. There is also large screen wall mounted television and kettle with tea and coffee provided.
We managed to find free on-street parking directly behind the pub as our van wouldn't fit under the 2.2m height barrier to the main car park. Our room certainly had character (the sloping floor made us laugh) and it was clean and cosy with a great shower. We enjoyed a tasty evening meal with great hand pulled beer. Breakfast service and food was really good.
