All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A good choice of items for breakfast. A big room with a huge bed (two singles pushed together). I had seen earlier reviews saying it was a little dated. Yes, but that added to its charm. The swimming pool was warm, and I had it to myself the two occasions I used it. I recommend this hotel.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
This is a fantastic place because of the people/staff. Charlie--one of the managers actually gave us her parking pass to use the entire time we were there. The staff was exceptional. The two young ladies at the check-in went out of their way to help and were very pleasant. The hotel has laundry service which was wonderful. Again, the staff was so helpful. The breakfast was quite nice. Great location and people. We really enjoyed the site and location to beaches and sites. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
The very good location for walking and sea views with a great buffet breakfast. The public areas appear to have been recently refurbished, with an excellent bar and restaurant area.
The free electric car chargers outside the front of the hotel and ample parking at the rear of the hotel was very useful.
Our stay was very pleasant. Big car park. The bar area was very nice. Food in the restaurant was also good. We didn't use the pool but again the area looked very nice. Good location.
Turned up to all the normal necessities plus a loaf of bread, a loaf of gache, 1 litre of milk and 500g pack of Guernsey butter. I really appreciated and loved that. There is also a little shed at the entrance of the car park where you can buy fresh eggs and a mixture of other fresh produce.
Location was great for us as near to family; lift available; parking was free and good; free wifi; breakfast was great, good plentiful selection and mainly cooked to order; staff were very friendly and so helpful and accommodating. Lovely wood fire to sit round. Great to have entertainment on a Friday evening. New Year's Eve was amazing!
