Very relaxed, excellent bedroom (room 2) with ensuite shower room. Very nice help-yourself breakfast laid out in the bedroom although there was the option of using the main downstairs kitchen with enormous table if required by a larger group of visitors. All I heard at night was an owl and some cattle in the distance. A far cry from the M40.

The location is excellent, with a good parking area, a comfortable bed, a great collection of shower gel and shampoo, and a clean bathroom. The instructions for entry were very clear and the hosts were fantastic.

Beautiful grounds in a lovely setting room was serviceable
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Ben offered to carry bags upstairs which is a very rare kindness . He was a great asset to the hotel being very kind and helpful and efficient throughout our stay..The logfires were so welcoming esp as the weather was diabolical. Olde worldy, cosy and comfortable stay. Easy parking.
