The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Gave us a cream tea just after we arrived. The hotel is quite a walk up the hill but worth it for the views and quiet. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfasts were delicious and you could tell were made with quality produce. I even got to swim in the pool .

Food was brilliant, no problem if you wanted something slightly different. Lovely dinning room. Nice to sit round a table and talk to other guests. Perfectly located for all the places we wanted to see . Safe parking literally on door step. Hostess very helpful and a good knowledge of the where to eat locally.
Everything provided was to a high standard and the cottage , although very small, was extremely well equipped. Very quiet and comfortable bedroom. The cottage is well heated and cosy . Light at all times and attractive view . Weather was lovely but would be still good in the rain! The cottage has a very convenient set aside spot for parking right opposite. This was much appreciated especially after long drives.
Plenty of paths leading off from straight outside the front door for dog walking and a dog friendly area.
