Greystone Guesthouse, hotel in Thrapston

Everything! The property is stunning from the moment you arrive in the drive way. The interior is beautifully designed, the bed and duvet are like sinking into a cloud. The decor is exceptionally tastefully, with nods the the beautiful ancient Olive tree outside the door. Behind each cupboard door and within every drawer is that extra .... from an ironing board, a hairdryer to those little bathroom extras that maybe required as an emergency. The products, are 'The White Company' and included a lovely take away of a pillow spray and the loveliest lip salve I've ever had. Breakfast included beautiful fruit, berries, orange juice, granola and cereals, along with tea, coffee and fresh milk. On our 2nd morning, we had a knock on the door to be greated by Elene with a basket of warm croissants ♥️ We were celebrating both my 60th birthday and our 39th wedding anniversary.... we were greated by a card congratulating us for both, and a complimentary bottle of fizz. All in all, the most romantic weekend away we've had. Thank you. Your property is stunning 🥰

Room nice size and free parking. 4 poster bed was not really as described being a flat (comfortable) modern "platform" with 5 stout posts about 18 inches from each corner and some draped net. TV excellent size.

Member of staff was very helpful with car parking and pleasant to encounter. She checked me in and showed me the room and was equally helpful re facilities in the town and a suggestion about using the small chest of drawers as a sewing table! I was very pleased to be shown a good place to park that was free. the room was clean and tidy - no problem with that. I knew it would be small as I had been warned.

Easy access, just off the A14. Good car park, no parking fee anymore. Neat and tidy interior. Exterior looks a bit different as the ivy has been removed. Good clean rooms and bathrooms, comfy beds. No noise could be heard from adjoining rooms. Some road traffic, but didn't disturb us. Superb breakfast. Not a 5star hotel, but that wasn't what we wanted.
