The Moorings location is on the seafront, some 15 to 20 minutes walk to the centre although there are numerous bus's running into town. Personally, I enjoyed the walk. My room was on the ground floor next to the bright little dining room. Plenty of choice for breakfast and Emma, the host, was very friendly and made the stay like a home from home. There was also a handy small store for my bicycle.
A ride or walk to the end of the longest pleasure pier in the country is a must when visiting Southend!

It was very clean, near to the train station and Adventure Island.. The host Steve was very accomdating and provided us with an extra camping bed and towels.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
We loved the location of this property and the free parking. The size of the apartment is fantastic especially when you’re travelling with children. The bedrooms were all great sizes with lots of storage for clothes. The beds were clean and very comfortable.
The most beautiful place i have even stayed in Southend with an amazing view from the balcony and free car park, sparkling clean, walking distance to all attractions, plenty of lovely places around with food and drinks.
