My wife and I (and our dog) just stayed one night en route from Hastings to Yorkshire. Our hosts made our short stay a positively memorable experience. Their two lovely rescue dogs (setters) were a bonus for us and for our own dog.
Breakfast couldn’t have been better. This accommodation is nothing like a “Premier Inn”, instead it is a comfortable, cosy cottage that has charm and character run by hospitable and warm hearted hosts.
My wife tells me that I made a very good choice in booking Mountain Ash and I would agree.

The breakfast was 1st class. We ate our evening meals there also and were happy with the quality.
The beds were comfortable and the bedside lighting was fine.
Because it is a heritage hotel of age access to rooms was challenging but much better when using the rear stair entry.
We enjoyed the gardens in the courtyard.
