The house was tucked away in between two lochs and the journey there was just spectacular. The place was very homely as were the people. The rooms were clean and quiet and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend booking this listing rather than some big commercialized hotel.

Kelly was an incredible hostess, going out of her way to make our stay incredible. The rooms are located on a farm, so you are surrounded by animals which you can learn all about when taking a farm tour. We pre-booked breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, you can choose among a variety of options and both breakfast and dinner were wonderful. The Garrisons are located very close to Loch Lomond, so you can easily walk along the lake on the Great Trossachs Path or take a boat at Inversnaid. The place is great. We never before felt so welcomed. The staff were ready to fulfill all our wishes, always with a smile. The shared bathrooms are very nice and clean. The food is exeptionaly delicious.

We LOVED this place and wished we had stayed more nights! My kids absolutely loved the range of activities available to them. The grounds were beautiful, the staff was super helpful and accommodating. The lovely lady at the counter (I didnt get her name) was super helpful and even suggested some great places in the town nearby to visit! We have made a note to come back here and book for a longer stay!

We had a wonderful time at Altskeith Country House. Beautiful location, charming friendly host. The best food that we had in Scotland. Full Scottish Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was amazing. The fish and chips we had were the best I've ever tasted. I recommend everyone to eat in this place. We were pleasantly surprised by the location with multiple outdoor activities.
