Breakfast was fantastic with a good range of food on offer, we especially loved the 'papple' juice and the meats were brilliant quality, all fresh and local.
The room was cosy, blinds kept it nice and dark for a lay in and the hotel was quiet. We also loved the espresso machine in our room for a morning coffee in bed before heading down the breakfast. Check out time was generous.

A gem of a place in the Welsh countryside. Quiet and peaceful and a stunning little conversion. Monmouth only a few miles down the road, a great pub within walking distance and a local gin distillery which is definitely worth a visit. The property was warm, smart, comfortable and the owners went out of their way to add the little extras such as dog treats, dog towells and a dog bed. Our pack has never been so chilled. Enclosed garden is enclosed which was great for us and just down the road, if you have a reactive dog, there are secure dogs fields. Lots to explore in the local area. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

A Simple check in with clear instructions. The summerhouse was clean and tidy and in great order, a great night sleep in a quiet location and within mere miles from some amazing walks and hikes in the wye valley. Plenty of amenities and the stack of biscuits were appreciated 😀
