The Abbey House Hotel is a dignified haven of comfort and hospitality. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed and the food is five-star. There is ample parking. The hotel's hosting of weddings is wonderful, and they make a lot of effort to create a lovely Christmas atmosphere in mid-November. Highly recommended.

Location was stunning, Carol and David were attentive and have created a very comfortable environment. The facilities are excellent, it's a lovely house to be in and it's very clean and tidy. We left a pair of glasses behind and David called us to let us know they had them which was very kind and much appreciated.

Breakfast was first rate, everything fresh and good quality. Also the lady who ran the place was very welcoming and helpful, she brought fresh milk and water to our room each day which we really appreciated. Good location for country walking and access to town, about 5 minute walk.

The caravan was lovely, very comfortable and a great location! Had views of the water and hills, the owners were amazing when I told them about a mishap with a child and the sink, didn't get upset just came and fixed it, amazing place and amazing people
