Luxurious decor, clean and spacious bedroom and bathroom. The huge bed had the most comfortable mattress.
Richard was a most entertaining and welcoming host for whom nothing was too much trouble. The Continental breakfast had every choice covered. The property is located a short bus ride from the city centre and is well-served by a reliable and cheap bus service. A fabulous visit.

The pub is delightful and we had a lovely lunch. My reason for scoring slightly lower is our disappointment with the original room we were allocated. Room 10 avoid at all costs!!! We made jokes about it being the penthouse room on the way up the countless number of stairs however the joke backfired because not only was it literally on and overlooking the roof we suddenly realised the imposing noise we could hear was from all extractors/generators outside our bedroom windows on the roof !! This is not a budget hotel, we paid approximately £450 for 2 nights RO. I immediately contacted reception to advise there was no way I was prepared to stay in this room and would find it impossible to sleep with the noise penetrating into it. I have to say they were very good and luckily managed to move us to a superior room but my point is this room should either be heavily discounted with some advice on view and noise issues. Had there not been another room available we would have been in trouble.

There wasn't anything to dislike. The appartment was very open and clean. It felt homely and very welcoming.

Pretty much everything. Fleur was easy to work with and handled any request promptly (more important, problem solved). The house was very clean, smelled clean, and helped us feel comfortable. Had everything you want including towel warmer in bathroom. Photos are night shots of house and firepit area where I enjoyed a Montecristo in total peace with nature.
