We stayed at the “ Red Lion” for 1 night as we were due to fly out of Exeter airport the next day. We stayed in the apartment, when we arrived we were given a warm welcome and made to feel at home straight away. The apartment was comfortable and cosy with everything you would need. The pub itself had a lovely atmosphere and made us feel more than welcome with lovely food but what stood out was the staff, you were made to feel like part of the family. A perfect start to our holiday.

Hosts were excellent. House full of history and ambience
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Quiet convenient location in the centre of Silverton village. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Spacious room. No parking on site but adequate public parking closeby.
I opted to stay at Silverton Inn for a wedding in Cullompton. I was greeted by friendly staff who were extremely helpful regarding parking, and with food after a lengthy journey. The breakfast was very tasty and filling. The room was cosy with an incredibly comfortable bed.
Friendly, welcoming staff. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Very good evening meal and breakfast. Perfect for an overnight stay but would’ve been good for a longer stay as there were plenty of cupboards and wardrobe space. Wi-Fi a little temperamental, but not too problematic. Property does not have its own parking, but there was plenty of free parking nearby.
A great find, I had a very warm and friendly welcome from the owner Shane.
My room was spacious and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.
There are daily offers in the restaurant throughout the week and are very good value.
My breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked.
Parking outside on the main road I found was easy, and there is a local shop just a short distance away.
I recommend The Silverton Hotel highly, and will definitely be returning when next in the area.
Staff guided me in and advised of the areas parking areas.
Welcomed at the bar with excellent ale.
Shown to a clean and comfortable room.
Ate only one night in the Inn, an excellent menu and service.
Breakfast was also excellent
Great place to stay. Very clean, friendly staff, good food, ales, ciders, good breakfast, great location in the centre of the village with easy access to the main shops in the village. Plenty of parking available with a public free parking nearby (if needed) but no direct parking owned by the Inn. Good quality/price ratio. The wifi signal and power could be improved. Good room service.
Such a friendly welcome, and a good-value tasty evening meal. Our ensuite room was pleasant, spotless and well furnished. The village is pretty and beautifully located, with nice strolls from the door. We didn't find the village car-park on arrival, so took a while to find nearby street parking, but the car-park is free and quite convenient for the Inn.
This was a stopover for us as we headed towards Cornwall. It was an unexpected gem. The staff were friendly and engaging. The meals were of an exceptional standard. The room was very comfortable. I would highly recommend. There is a free parking area not far from the hotel in Wyndham Rd.
Welcoming, warm and traditional British Inn.
Great breakfast and an extensive menu for dinner with a good choice for vegetarians and superb beer.
There's plenty of free parking in the village.
Overall lovely stay, comfortable bed, sweet room and a bit unusual. Staff were friendly, I had dinner in the pub, it was reasonably priced and very tasty. Breakfast was also good. Great location for collecting my son from uni in Exeter without actually staying in Exeter. Free parking.
