I think Torridon YH is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The team who run it are fantastic, and so warm and friendly, and so helpful, I had such a banter with them all.The whole place is spotless, a fantastic kitchen with everything for cooking and 3 cookers. The bedrooms were clean and spotless, and I was lucky to be put in a room with a shower and toilet too. Beds were very comfy too. There was nothing I didnt like while staying there.

The apartment is so comfortable and clean.
Everything is finished to a really high standard and it has every accessory you are likely to need, making it feel so cosy and homely.
We stayed here as a group of 4 adults, and all had a lovely big hot bath (much needed after climbing Ben Nevis!) And slept so comfortably in all the beds. We would absolutely stay here again if we were in the area. 10/10!

Room was a good size and in pretty good condition. They also use a lot of sustainable toiletries. We were also told well in advance that the nearest restaurant is only open for a couple hours in the evening, so we were able to plan accordingly and we appreciated the heads up.

The breakfast was exceptional… our hosts could not do enough for us. Location was fantastic… right on the water and walking distance to everything. The little extras that our hosts bestowed upon us were gorgeous… coffee machine, biscuits to have with our cuppas in our room, tissues, body lotion, glasses for water. When travelling these little things make all the difference. The best stay ever!!!!

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Lovely location on the shore of the loch. Parking right outside. The attached restaurant was exceptional with a brilliant waitress (Christina). I can only guess that they have kidnapped a Michelin chef.
