The instructions on how to find the accommodation were very helpful and the brightly coloured lights at night were a good idea. Our family room room was large with comfy beds, dressing area and large bathroom. Everywhere was spotless. The hosts were very welcoming and we felt quite comfortable there. The breakfast was wonderful and set us up very well to climb Slieve Donard mountain, which we could see from the bedroom window! We would have no hesitation to return there again if/when we are in the area again.

We've stayed at Magical Cottages two years in a row now and we couldn't be happier. Michael is an amazing host who was so accommodating no matter the request. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean with lots of space for our extended family! The extras (such as KitKats in the fridge) were very much appreciated when we arrived after a 7 hours trip! We have booked for next year already!

To be invited into someone's home and to be made to feel welcome, especially when you are strangers, is a very noble and brave thing to do. The room is very comfortable, best pillows I have slept on for a long time and very clean. The area is just lovely. Brilliant to scenery and beautiful walks. Apartment was beautiful and spacious, really comfortable and clean. We had our little girl with us so the courtyard was great for her to run around and safe from the main road once the door is locked. Location was perfect for us just a 10 min bus ride into Newcastle. Local spar is less than a 5 minute walk. The host Michael was lovely kept in contact with us we loved our stay and would highly recommend and book again.
