Superb motorbike friendly hotel right on nc500 in village of Mey. We had a lovely big room in the annex. Comfy bed , great bathroom, clean and very quiet so we slept well. Off street Parking next to hotel is secure as its a very quiet area! We ate and had drinks in the hotel. Food was excellent. Very friendly couple that own and run the hotel. Recommended.

Loved the quirkiness of this place. it's decorated beautifully and has everything you could ever need in the kitchen. We had asked for the place to be decorated with banners we supplied, and the owners obliged and had everything ready for us. Parking is great.

The location is wonderful. Stunning seaviews. We even saw seals in the waves from the kitchen window. Plenty of parking. Big garden, lots of space for the dog to run. Close to beautiful landmarks, such as Dunnet bay. The house is well equipped, with lots of helpful extras provided in the cupboards. Wifi was reliable. Communication before and during our stay was excellent.

Second time we stayed at this cottage which indicates our views. Excellent location looking over the Pentland Firth. Facilities at the property were very good and cater for all needs. Plenty of parking on site and facilities at Wick/Thurso/Castleton ae all within a short drive away. We'd definitely like to return for another visit. Nothing we can fault.

I loved the location - so close to a lovely beach and John O Groats and Thurso. The host has thought of everything you would need for your stay with great facilities. I loved all the little touches and cute dainty style. The place was very clean and ideal for one night stay while doing the NC500. It was easy to find by typing Celtic Firs in to Maps on iPhone and the host had left clear instructions for the collection of keys. Parking on site and good kitchen facilities were also a bonus.
