There was only two positive about this hotel and that was the cooked breakfast which was always freshly made and tasted nice. We had this included in our stay. Had it not been we would likely not have paid to give this hotel any extra money due to our experience. The second was the bed linen (sheets) were clean - apart from the cover which is mentioned below and photo included.

Fantastic location, lovely view, and great value for money.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The Chalet was available for us at 0800 in the morning. This was really good as we diddnt want to hang arround all day waiting for the accomodation to be ready. The owner told us she keeps it this way so people can get the chalet when they come off the ferry. The veiw from the window was superb. The location was very quiet. There was ample parking nearby.
Location was great, fantastic views and easy to find. Chalet was self catering and had everything we needed from kitchen utensils, to bed linen and towels. Outside was plenty of parking spaces, a landscaped garden up the side of the hill and the host had their studio and craft shop on site, where you can purchase a variety of items: paintings, resin jewellery, buttons, postcards, gifts, hanging mobiles etc
The garden and workshop were certainly an added bonus to our stay at the chalet, will definately return
Great location for heading North and South and a short hop from Lerwick. 1 Min drive to Scalloway for shops and cafe and de Haaf restaurant. Great views. Clean, compact and functional. Comfy sofa. Wi-Fi worked. Car Parking is near to chalet with steps down. We didn't walk to Scalloway due to distance and type of walk (mostly roads). There is a slight shortcut with steps down to near the water - fishmongers near base of steps also. Good value.
