Firstly Trevor is one of the nicest people I’ve met he gave us a call to see how our journey was going and when we arrived he showed us around and made us feel welcome and comfortable instantly. The property is amazing the attention to detail is top and everything was immaculate and the location is amazing as you are not too far away from anything but you still get the retreat private feel. 100% will be coming back there and the complimentary beers and Prosecco was much appreciated.

(Writing this on behalf of my husband). The host was very communicative and friendly, available to help at all times. Snacks were provided on arrival, it was a lovely barn - extremely clean and comfortable. It exceeded expectations as it’s bigger than the photos provided on booking.com. There are a few pubs local within walking distance. I stayed here the day before my wedding as it was local to the venue with a few of my friends and couldn’t have asked for more

Lovely place, we felt like we were home. The owners were very kind and helpful, the place was cosy and clean and the location was perfect. Close to shops and 2 minutes walk from Harlow Mill station. The area is quiet and the bed was nice and comfortable so we were able to get a nice rest.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
25 minutes drive to stanstead airport, lovely clean room, friendly staff, free parking, out of the way tucked away with a golf course and lots of trees and nature. Tea and coffee in the room as well as biscuits!
Loads of free parking. Speedy check-in. Large, clean room with giant bed and a bath (not just a shower).
Leisure facilities lovely. Friendly staff in there. Warm pool with areas for kids and also for lane swimming.
Great choice of gin. Patio to sit out on. Inclusive dinner was first class. Prompt service.

A good stay. It was easy to get the room to a comfortable temperature which is not always possible in hotels. The car parking facilities are very good.
Hotel located in a nice quiet rural location with plenty of car parking. Booked hotel because it had leisure facilities including a swimming pool. Bright and spacious room. Warm welcome on arrival and leisure facilities fully explained.
The hotel is ideally located for visiting nearby Sawbridgeworth, where we had arranged to meet friends, and there is ample free car parking. Our room was a Superior Double and the proportions of the room were very good with a large double king size bed. The bed itself was very comfortable with nice linen.
The breakfast choices are excellent and the hot food doesn't disappoint. Shame about the coffee though, but I am a purist.
