Very comfortable bed. Great facilities and location near St Ives and Cambridge - very quick to drive to either locations. Very lovely host who allowed us an exception for a late checkout. Breakfast was hearty and very tasty - set us up well for the day of travel we had ahead.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Golden Lion which is a modernised tradional coaching inn. nice cooked breakfast as opposed to a buffet was a definite bonus. no car parking on site but local paid car parking is close by and very affordable at £4. Dinner was in the lounge bar or restatuant area. Good enough range of food including hanging Kebabs!

Lovely clean and spacious hotel and felt very modern and contemporary. Well located in the middle of St Ives.
Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner in the evening was good.
We thought the parking would be a problem but in fact it was easy to drop off the luggage and then park the car for a few pounds for the weekend in a car park only 5 minutes walk away.
A lovely quiet pub in a village near St. Ives. If you arrive by car, keep going to almost the end of the road as it does no look as if a pub/hotel should be there. It is located opposite the grassy area, with the car park accessed from a road about 50m before it (follow it around to the right. There is free parking on site, and free secure wifi. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The evening meal and breakfast were very good.
