Great location in central Saffron Walden. The old charm of the hotel and room 2. The staff were helpful when asked. A generous breakfast was provided. The sweet potato hash was delicious. The parking in Swan Meadow car park was convenient, just a short walk to the hotel.

Fantastic location, historic beautiful old building, accommodating friendly staff and a tasty breakfast with a great selection of cooked options. Parking a few minutes walk away in a public car park. £3.50 a day and very safe. Room 1 had a huge, very comfy bed, should be advertised as a king size.
Great location, beautiful cottage with excellent facilities and speedy responses on our Qs. A very short walk into town and we took advantage of the free parking at the Council offices down the road! Couldn’t recommend more highly.
Good location in the centre of town, no parking on site but there are nearby car parks. We had a large, airy room in the converted barn annexe so it was quiet, with a very comfortable bed and nice toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful and staff polite and helpful, although especial praise should go to the lady who was serving breakfast singlehandedly on Remembrance Sunday morning. Despite being rushed off her feet she was good humoured, polite and nothing was too much trouble.

On the high street walking distance to shops, pubs, etc. so many choices for eating out. Gorgeous shops. Great to have the videos to help with car parking and hot tub etc.
Great location in town centre. Spotless inside and out. Lovely outside space. Hot tub was wonderful. Comfy double bed. Small kitchenette with fridge useful. Large fan was good as it was a warm night. Parking nearby.
Quirky but very comfortable. Not a straight line in sight in this Old and classy Inn. Probably the most comfortable bed we have slept on when away. All the staff engaged in conversation with you almost as a friend rather than just another customer. Good food and a decent range of ales. Super breakfast options. Outside area for eating with Sunday live music a bonus in the sunshine.
Car parking a short walk away and the parking app was easy to deal with using the hotels WiFi so no getting out early the next morning to pay for the car!!
