Very comfortable recently refurbished hotel, rooms were great and bed very comfortable. Dinner in the bar was also good and staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the better breakfasts we had during our week’s hiking tour.

Excellent place to stay the grounds and the cottages are beautiful had plenty of parking. Had a fantastic time there is some amazing walks around the site itself very close to lake windermere and highly recommended taking a walk down to Karen's Island stunning views. The cottage was clean, well stocked and extremely comfortable. There is an adorable little shop on site, swimming pool and small games room for kids.
