Breakfast was very nice, full English for me, on a par with my preferred local cafe, but there were continental choices too
room was not perfect,(also this was not expected just thought I would use context), but it was kept well for the age of the building, and a comfortable bed too. good water pressure for the shower as well.

This review is a little late but well deserved. Amazing hosts and absolutely amazing place to stay. Third time here and it's always a pleasure staying at the Bijou cottage. The host is very responsive and super helpful. The cottage is absolutely a home to home and wonderful garden space to relax. Always a big thumbs up.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The place and grounds are amazing. Our room was in the more modern annexe building across the car park. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The restaurant served a good choice of tasty meals at reasonable prices and we were very happy to dine here throughout our stay. Breakfast was top notch and cooked fresh to order with a good selection of other items on offer. We had a really enjoyable weekend here exploring the local area and loved staying at this hotel.
