Great location, near the centre but the room was quiet. Very comfortable and everything had been thought of, including fresh milk for hot drinks in the fridge. Breakfast was very efficiently and cheerily provided.

Beautiful house. So clean and the little touches made it so welcoming. Very central for people. The girls who cleaned the house made sure we had everything we needed by asking us each day. This is so good as the owners aren't on site and by them doing this we didn't do without anything. Contacted the owner to seeing we could stay an extra night. Even though they were out the country on their own holiday they were so accommodating and arranged an extra night for us. At the age of 50 and having travelled alot I can honestly hand on heart say that 4 days in Alnwick only a few miles from home were one of the best breaks I've had. The first room we were in at the back of the property was like being in a little cocoon away from a stressful life! Thank you both!
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
This is our third visit to The Old Workshop, super clean, perfect location for visiting the beaches and Alnwick in a lovely peaceful and quiet village. Very well equipped property, lovely garden and ample parking.
