The property exceeded my expectations. Separate doorway and a key code to collect the keys. I arrived late and the light on the drive and light up key box was useful. I was travelling for work so needed somewhere quiet, warm and comfortable. This exceeded my expectations as I was also provided with coffee making facilities and good WiFi!

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
This is definitely the place to stay if you're very easy-going and appreciate that the hotel is under refurbishment! It's full of character, our room was huge with a large bathroom and a comfortable bed. We liked opening the large sash window to hear the birds.
The young lady on reception was super helpful. There's a garden for a wander or sitting in the sunshine. Safe off-road parking.
The hotel has a great location just off the M1 about 30 min from Matlock Bath and Peak District. Free parking .
