Although cooking wasn’t allowed in the place but as we reached late there so there was no shop opened late night. She allowed us to cook in her garden and she offered cutlery as well. Good behaviour of staff.

Liz was so friendly, the welcome basket was amazing home made bread, eggs from her chickens and honey from her bees. The cottage itself was spotless and had everything you could possibly need, a covered decking area and a fenced garden out the back, my only disappointment is that we didn’t stay longer we will definitely go back if travelling to Scotland again. Breakfast was a bit of a wow factor. Did not expect such choice or tasty, locally sourced product.

It’s very cliche to a castle.
It’s cute and we had a good night there.
Furnishings etc are exactly what you would expect from a “castle” / hotel.
I believe most rooms were occupied, but only one staff member to do the bar, reception and deal with the guests, it was awkward at best.
