Very comfortable and quite historic looked lovely with all the candles lit for those dining in the evening, the owner was very attentive and we had a good conversation regarding the hotel, we only ate breakfast but there was a good selection of either full english, or vegetarian, yoghurts and fruit or muesli

Beautiful house, perfect and plenty of room for 11 family members attending a wedding nearby. Added toiletries was a lovely gesture as was the chocolate cake as a welcome gift. Lovely seating area outdoor, shame it rained during our stay

The Hotel is well situated for everything in Woodstock, Blenheim Palace & Winston Churchills final resting place. The interior of the venue has been very well designed & finished.
We were allocated Room No 5 which was " Up in the heavens " & was spacious, clean, tidy & very quirky.
The room had a large very comfortable bed.
We ate in the restaurant that evening excellent food & drink, the Staff were all very Polite & professional
A great breakfast was consumed the following morning.

Wow - what a wonderful place to stay! This is a modern, designer wooden lodge with comfortable double bed, warm structure, excellent double shower, mini-kitchen and Nespresso coffee machine. Plenty of parking and a stone’s throw from an old gastro-pub full of character and charm.

Very cosy and a great location. There’s an oven and coffee facilities all included, as well as WiFi and TV with Netflix/Prime that you can log in to. Parking was good and we had a great welcome from the owner/landlord.
This is everything I look for in a country pub: cosy atmosphere (including open fires), well stocked bar, great service with a smile, really good, wholesome food, very comfortable bed, great shower in a well-equipped bathroom, fantastic location, ample parking. I would heartily recommend it to anyone as both a delightful place to stay and relax and as a well located base from which to enjoy the delights of the wider Cotswolds.
We absolutely loved the pub it was soo cosy and our room was lovely. There were nice little touches with tea, coffee biscuits, sparking water and tree port in the room. Dinner was great in the beautiful restaurant and staff very friendly.
Fantastic location, peaceful environment, great base for walking local area. Excellent diner and breakfast with impeccable service. On arrival made to feel very welcome. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Easy parking.
