Driftwood, hotel in Porthscatho

Our boutique accommodation in Cornwall is located on the Roseland Peninsula along the South-west coastal path, an area of outstanding natural beauty: a walker’s paradise and a must-visit for nature...

Really lovely location. We had a Seaview room which was really comfortable and clean. The only down side was that the mattress was too soft for us so sleep was a bit fitful. Also in a south facing room, it would be a good idea to have blinds at the window to shade out the sun during the day. Not having any meant the room was a bit uncomfortably hot in the night. We were very lucky with the weather which rather exacerbated the hot room issue- though obviously this wasn't under anyone's control! Leah who was on reception and dining room duties, was absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. She is a real asset to Driftwood.

Excellent location right in the middle of lovely Portscatho. It was very fortunate to have its own parking space. It is a lovely property with tons of character due to its age. It was clean and came with all the facilities that a family with 2 teen boys and a dog could need.
