Super friendly and helpful host. Very peaceful night in a comfy bed... even though it's shared bathroom and kitchen, both were kept very clean, and it really did feel more like a hotel. Lovely rural location. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Everything was excellent, well thought out and organised.
The location was convenient for visiting Cheltenham and the Cotswolds yet was very peaceful and quiet.
The accommodation had level access from the car park and its own entrance so we could come and go easily. The owners were helpful but in no way intrusive.
Our room and bathroom were immaculately clean. Modern yet rustic furniture, interesting decor, good fixtures and fittings, a small fridge and the most comfortable bed with quality bed linen made our stay relaxing.
We were asked for our breakfast order the day before and a time arranged. The breakfasts were delicious. We appreciated the fresh soft fruits with yoghurt and the well cooked and presented hot course each day.

The location was fantastic to walk to everything. Great having the car park behind the Inn (as parking is hard to get in Painswick). And amazing food in the restaurant. We upgraded to a suite - highly recommend it - overlooking the church.
Fantastic location with easy parking. Beautiful building with lots of room for three couples. Each having own bathroom was great and several sitting rooms. We had a BBQ in the back area and it was a perfect place for a summer evening. The village is small enough to get around on foot. We parked the second car in the car park but easy loading as short stay bays opposite the house. Everyone said the beds were comfy and extremely quiet at night.

The breakfast was excellent and being offered a box to take away what we didn’t eat was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed both meals we had in the restaurant. The room was quirky, comfortable and warm. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The location in Painswick was ideal and free car parking was a very short walk away across the church yard.
Perfect location, easy access and a parking space available if required. Albeit plenty of street parking available. Check in instructions received well in advance and were very clear along with providing additional information for the area which was very helpful.
Very friendly staff and excellent service and food at breakfast and for dinner in the restaurant. Convenient location with free parking close by, in a beautiful well kept village. Room was clean and comfortable with good quality furnishings and a great shower. The communal fridge had plenty of water and fresh milk and was very hygiene conscious.
The continental breakfast was substantial and the take away box was a great idea for carrying a little extra for the day. The Indian room was quirky but very comfortable and lovely. The area around the B&B was a quaint little area of Painswick… great for a wander. Parking was free in the village car park and close to St Michaels Bistro. Don’t park under the trees … the birds obviously have superglue as part of their diet.
We had the Bohemian Suite on the top floor of the building which had a lovely view of the church yard. Our room which was quirkily furnished was clean and spacious as was the bathroom which had both a bath and shower.
The bed was comfortable however a bit low for me and the room was quite dark.
St Michael’s Bistro is basically a restaurant with rooms above accessed via a back alley.
Parking was in a free public car park a short walk away.
