Although secluded it had everything we needed. Being so secluded the wifi was a bit of a hot or miss, but that is not a bad thing as the views made up for it and we were so tired from being out expiring the area all day that we were all asleep very quickly.

We stayed here for 4 nights whilst on a 2 week scottish tour on motorbikes. 2 couples 2 bikes. Facilities excellent. A home from home. 1 bathroom with shower and bath, toilet etc and 1 toilet downstairs so it worked well for the 4 of us. Plenty of hot water. Good shower. Very clean.well equiped kitchen with washing machine. 10 min walk into Kirkwall. Supermarkets close too so easy to self cater. Nice big TV with plenty if channels. Outside seating if you want it although weather not good enough for us except last night when sun appeared!! Comms from Samantha excellent. Key safe on outside so code sent to us day before arrival. Situated in modern housing estate which was very quiet. Parking for motorbikes on road on alloted spaces but felt secure . We locked them up just in case though! Recommended. We would deffo stay here again!

The location is brilliant - set on the hillside above Kirkwall with a beautiful view. Dorothy and Andy gave us a very warm welcome and were very generous with their welcome pack. They did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and helped us to consider our options when our return ferry was canceled at short notice due to the weather. The pod is well equipped with everything new and in good working order.

Kevin and Deborah are excellent hosts, nothing was ever too much trouble. Great room, comfortable beds and a seperate lounge area for guests. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, freshly cooked. Good location for exploring west side of island.

Absolutely everything, the house was perfect and the hosts were amazing and they honestly thought of everything and everything we needed, the extras and treats on arrival were above and beyond and help was on hand anytime we needed, I'd give 100 rating if I could it was a great holiday and like a home from home, loved everything and would definitely stay again.

The guest house was about 1 minute drive to Kirkwall and in good position to explore the island. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Off street parking on site.
Victoria Cottage was quiet, comfortable, clean, well equipped and in a great location. The owners were very responsive to any questions. There is convenient car parking nearby, and shops at the bottom of the road (less than 100 metres from the property). Overall, a great place to stay.
Place had personality plus - homey, spacious, quaint. Very comfortable - much more than a studio. Loved the fireplace as it made the apartment warm and cozy. Excellent location. convenient, free parking. Very responsive host. Highly recommend.
Located in central Kirkwall was first rate.did not use free parking as not easy to access used council nearby no problem.rooms were neat and clean plenty of storage.kitchen was fine as we are out did not use cookers washing machines etc.steel flight of stairs to apartment so not a choice for many.
