There really wasn’t much to like accept the availability which having been let down was very last minute where other places were booked. It would be misleading to suggest there was anything else to like other than this. It wasn’t filthy, although you wouldn’t really say it was clean but because it was so cold inside it felt tacky everywhere. Strangely the sheets were clean and towels were provided, They felt totally out of place because of the generally poor state of the house. What was particularly troubling was the CCTV camera propped up on a box in the hall when you entered. So scruffy it actually seemed kind of creepy rather than protective.

Great location, easy access, and superb communication. Gorgeous decoration, comfortable cosy lounge area. Furnished to high standard. Beautiful and clean, everything I needed, to enjoy a quiet stay. There was a welcome pack of essential groceries, and a fantastic choice of soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Good location close to a park and wooded area, all within walking distance of a couple of supermarkets and fast food outlets.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was well furnished and comfortable. The hotel has a bar with good local beer on tap, there is a sunny garden with outside seating, the restaurant has a good range of food, which was very tasty and so was breakfast. Parking was easy in a nearby quite side road, or there is a paying carpark across the road from the hotel.
The location is brilliant - car parking nearby and plenty of breakfast places and pubs/bars. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We were recommended cab companies and they even offered to keep our key behind the desk while we were out. It is also very close to Haydock racecourse - less than a 10 minute drive away.
I was given an upgrade at no extra cost. The room was very nice comfy bed and excellent shower. Location is great, right on the high street. Parking across the street at the church carpark. I will definitely book again when visiting newton le willows.
We received an upgrade to a suite, which was nice more space. No parking at Hotel but can park on streets nearby or pay in Church carpark across road which is ideal.
upon arrival found a bottle of Prosecco and an instruction booklet which was very handy. Property was very clean throughout with on street parking. local shop and a fish and chip shop/ Chinese at the top of the road which was fab! very happy with our stay and if in the area again would definitely return.
Really helpful and friendly staff. Location is good for my needs. It’s not a typical plastic hotel, so although it’s not the cheapest, I prefer it.
Plenty of parking available in the car park opposite (paying) - I’ve never found a spot on the road for free.
