Hosts Lisa & Mark made us feel most welcome . We selected Penwyth House as a location suited to our needs . It is outside central Newquay making it a very quiet B&B . We stayed 5 nights using it as a central base with which to explore Cornwall . That proved to be a wise decision as we could travel north , south or east with a drive that was no more than an one and a half hours to any destination . Breakfast was hard to fault & always had us well prepared for the day ahead .
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Incredible welcome with a tour around the glampsite. The host was delightful and was very helpful. Peaceful, quiet atmosphere surrounded by friendly wildlife. With a lovely nature path to walk. With all the facilities you could ask for, the tea room and glamping pod were lovely and warm. The separate shower room and pod were immaculate. Would definitely stay again + there's free parking!
