The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable, we paid extra to get a view of the river, the bathroom was a nice size with plenty of hot water, the only downside to the room was that there were no carpets on the floor so I would guess this was a dog friendly room, so was not very happy about that. The breakfast was very nice, good selection of food, only thing was the coffee was very weak, no matter how long you let it stew. We found the food in the restaurant in the evening to be very expensive, I had a burger & French fries , that was £19, at those prices we only ate there once.

They had a full breakfast every day of the week. Very nice, They had biscuits a kettle, Cups in the room, Coffee sachets and tea. In the room we were in it overlooked the car parking area, nice view, had a bed room on one side of the room and a seating area on the other, both sides had a TV. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did stay for food for one night and that was very good.
Excellent food and service, clean room and facilities, free parking, not too far from the hotel. The location is beautiful, and I thoroughly enjoyed a couple of glasses of rose whilst contemplating Windemere Lake. The pool isn't massive but big enough to swim, one jacuzzi and 2 steam rooms, not used the gym but it's there!
Overall, this was a great experience and a place where we will definitely return. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, couldn't ask for more.
The hotel is in a beautiful spot, a short walk to Windermere lakeside. It is clean and the staff are welcoming. We had air con in the room. Free parking for guests.
The staff are outstanding at reception and the waiting staff should where so helpfully, one young lady asked a gentleman who was unsteady onnhis feet adked if he woukd like a habd with breakfast service, the Gym and all other facilities outstanding very good the room was very large with lots of space,free car parking and lovely views from the room,
Colin was super informative about the surrounding area and always willing to help. Partner forgot his charger and Colin kindly lent him one. Bed incredibly comfy. Breakfast fresh and plentiful. Location superb. Free parking on site. Arrived a long time before check in but came in to ask if we could use the toilet before we can park the car and go exploring . Colin said the room was luckily already ready for us so we were welcome to get settled in there first. Very accommodating - Thanks Colin!
