Kevin, Jo and their children were a pleasure to meet. Very well situated cottage for visiting Winchester and Jane Austen's house, with bus service to both. We actually walked to Winchester on country paths, some by the river, and country roads! Not expensive to use taxi for Winchester. And it gives the taste of countryside and a country village (with a lovely pub, who served delicious pies!). The cottage is very well appointed, spacious, bright, very quiet, well decorated, warm (a very good heating system), comfy beds and good linen, good bathroom and a good breakfast corner (with kettle, toaster, teas, a little fridge -no microwave, but owners were happy to heat up our soup and porridge-; and they left biscuits, milk and a swiss roll).

This place is a gem! We loved the staff, the food, the Pub, the rooms. It was a treat to stay here. The staff are clearly very proud of this place and it shows. We all were so very impressed. Our dinner and breakfasts were superb. The location on the St James Way (Camino Ingles) was just what we needed. Love this place.

Nice hotel standing in the fields out of any village. Very nice rooms, well decorated and equipped. Fresh milk is provided in the morning on the doors step. Very good restaurant, in particular serving an excellent tasting menu using local products. With nice weather there should be a terrace working. Kids enjoyed the place too.

A great location, in the centre of town, near to shops, next to the church, and a short distance from the heritage railway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The family rooms are a good size, with bunk beds. The food (at breakfast and at dinner) is very good. There is adequate car parking, which is a useful bonus. The restaurant and the breakfast room are comfortable and nicely decorated, giving a relaxed atmosphere.
