A very warm welcome on arrival. Accommodation was clean very comfortably everything you needed.Breakfast was so good plenty to choose from fresh milk,orange juice,ceral,fresh fruit and bread and pasties.Tea coffee.Was nice to come home after a day walking or days out to the lovely cakes left for use with a nice cup of coffee it rounded the day off would highly recommend staying at birchwood house.Great for walking,near to the town easy to get away on the bus for days out.One of the best bed and breakfast we have ever stopped in.Would definitely stop there again 100%.

From arrival to departure the staff were friendly and efficient, we stayed for four nights and dined in the restaurant on three of evenings as the food was excellent and the portions generous. There is ample parking and outdoor seating and a great atmosphere in the bar. The generous breakfast set us up for the day's sightseeing.

Location was good, Nice to have coffeemaker and coffee and tea. also what looked to be homemade flapjacks. Due to an allergy I did not try them but they looked good!
