Beautiful house in an excellent location for touring around Dumfries and Galloway. Very comfortable traditionally decorated house complemented by friendly helpful hosts. Breakfast was excellent and parking available outside the house. Wigtown book town is a lovely village well worth a visit not only for books but also coffee and cakes! Hope to return soon.

The rooms were lovely. Our teenagers had a double and single room with a 4-poster bed. It had a beautiful big bathroom. We knew we would be arriving very late from the ferry and the owner(possibly Dave?) confirmed that would be OK. He was very kind and so welcoming. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning before continuing our travels. We would have loved to have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again. It was a perfect location just 25-30 minutes from the ferry.

The location was fantastic, lots of parking space, unbelievable panoramic views , The Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful, And very interesting to chat with about the local area. Service and Breakfast was amazing, A great way to start the day. Will definitely use this again 😀
